ACADIA's post-acute community integrated rehabilitation programs
are designed to assist the individual with a neurological
impairment in dealing with issues of community living such
as self care, activities of daily living (ADL's), communication,
socialization, mobility, cognitive competency and vocational
development. ACADIA is committed to the development and refinement
of comprehensive, personalized community integrated programs.
These programs are designed to enhance the ability of individuals
with neurological impairments to expand their potential to
live, work and function as independently as possible. ACADIA
attempts to utilize each life experience as a teaching and
learning opportunity. As independent or adaptive skills are
developed, the individual begins a transition from ACADIA to his/her
community, home, workplace and/or school. As we strive to
maintain this focus, we will continually work to achieve the
highest quality programming in a cost-effective manner. It
is essential to the success of ACADIA, Inc. that all services
delivered, all business practices employed, and all marketing
is done in a professional ethical manner.
Each individual served will be treated with
respect and dignity. All information concerning services provided,
financial obligation, and time limits will be disclosed to
the individual. All staff must follow ACADIA's ethical code
of conduct*, all applicable state practice acts, all applicable
professional associations' ethical codes, and ethical codes
of marketing as developed by the Brain Injury Association
