RESIDENTIAL LONG AND SHORT TERM
ACADIA provides residential programming on a short-term and long-term basis. Skills associated with daily routines are developed in a natural home environment through training, supervision and functional application. Skills taught may include cooking, shopping, laundry, money management, cleaning, planning and organizing leisure activities, time management, self care, transportation, and interpersonal skills.

Programming emphasizes interpersonal learning. Our residential program is strategically located to maximize accessibility to community resources, which further amplifies opportunities for rehabilitation experiences.

Skills associated with daily routines are developed in a natural home environment. With an emphasis on individualization and continuity of care, individuals work toward carefully established goals and move through the program at their own pace. As the individual takes on increased responsibility for his/her own self-care, training and support are gradually decreased.
