This position will provide hands-on direct care, assist in redirection of challenging behaviors, and perform household duties as needed. CNA preferred; HS diploma required. Previous personal care experience, including providing one-one direct client care and assisting in group settings, working with individuals with brain injuries or other disabilities preferred. This position will be working with clients to develop individual therapy goals to address deficits in attention, memory, organization, communication, and meeting with the clients weekly to work towards goal progress. Cognitive Rehabilitation Therapists also plan and facilitate structured-day group activities that aim to engage our clients and improve their cognitive, behavioral functioning, and quality of life. Previous experience working with individuals with brain injuries or other disabilities preferred, but not required. Bachelor's degree and driver's license are required. Hours are M-F 8:00am-4:30pm. Acadia, Inc. a leading provider of services for clients with brain injuries has an opportunity for an experienced supervisor to provide hands-on, day to day residential staff supervision. Position requires qualified professionals with previous direct care and supervision experience, a positive attitude, ability to be flexible and take phone calls, fill in shifts as needed, strength in communications, good interpersonal skills, understand DPW 2600 regulations, and the ability to travel from site to site and work in inclement weather. Degree and/or PCHA preferred, Hours are M-F evenings and some weekends.
Experience working with clients with TBI and knowledge of human services preferred for this position. Position is evening hours and includes some weekends. Competitive pay and excellent benefits.
